Three Lathrop GPM Attorneys Named 2023 Colorado Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

DENVER (March 3, 2023) — Colorado Super Lawyers named Lathrop GPM Trusts, Estates & Legacy Planning attorneys Thomas Rodriguez and Alison Zinn to its 2023 list. Additionally, Lathrop GPM Environmental associate Blaine Bengtson was named a "Rising Star" for 2023.

Rodriguez brings over 20 years of experience to the firm. He focuses his practice on probate litigation, including contested guardianships and conservatorships, fiduciary representation, and other will and trust litigation. Rodriguez is a member of the Boulder County Bar Association Professionalism Committee, Boulder County Bar Association, Boulder County Estate Planning Council, Executive Council Member of The Colorado Bar Association Elder Law Section, and ACTEC Fellow. 

Zinn is a trial attorney focused on trust and estate litigation and elder law. She is a frequent speaker and thought leader on a variety of legal topics, including the Colorado Uniform Trust Code, protected proceedings, trial, and deposition skills. Zinn is actively involved in the legal and broader community, holding numerous roles over the years with the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association as well as volunteering with the Denver Probate Court, among others.

Bengtson focuses his practice on environmental law, including regulatory compliance, transactional issues and litigation, as well as litigation involving contaminants and toxic tort claims, and some complex civil litigation. He assists clients with environmental matters under federal and state law, and in judicial and administrative forums.
