Lathrop GPM LLP to Host IP Roundtable at ALM General Counsel Conference

CHICAGO (April 17, 2023) – Lathrop GPM LLP Partner James DeGiulio, Ph.D., and Director of Pricing Paige Keith will moderate a roundtable at ALM General Counsel Conference Midwest. The roundtable, titled “Capitalizing IP Cost-Effectively: Sophisticated IP Counsel & Creative Pricing,” will be held from 12:35-2 p.m. on April 19.

DeGiulio, Ph.D., is a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He focuses his practice on patent portfolio development, management, and enforcement for U.S. and international clients in the life sciences industry. DeGiulio has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications covering compositions, formulations, and methods of treatment for both early and late-stage clinical development drugs and other pipeline products. He has also been involved in several patent litigation matters where he assisted innovator clients in asserting and defending drug and medical device patents under the Hatch-Waxman Act framework. DeGiulio earned his J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Northwestern University, and his B.S. in Biology from Arizona State University.

Keith is the firm’s Director of Pricing. She oversees the firm’s innovative pricing capabilities and has significant experience in financial modeling, management, and law firm strategy. With over 20 years of leadership experience, Keith has held various director and c-suite roles in litigation services, finance, and law firm operations. Keith was previously responsible for developing and implementing operational and financial procedures, objectives, and initiatives of a mid-size national litigation boutique and establishing a long-term strategy to promote the experience and reputation of the firm. Keith earned her MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
