Lathrop GPM Named Top Patent Firm by Juristat

(March 17, 2022) – Lathrop GPM is ranked as one of Juristat’s top patent firms in 2021, due to its exceptional performance metrics in Technology Center 1600. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Technology Center 1600 is where you’ll find patent applications relating to the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical fields.

For each of the eight technology centers, Juristat identified the top firms in each of three categories – allowance rate, average office actions before allowance, and volume of applications filed. The firm’s patent allowance rate ranked 5th best in Technology Center 1600based on the high percentage of patent applications the firm is granted from the USPTO. According to Juristat, “These rankings represent the best of the best, and Lathrop GPM is one of those firms.”
