Kent Sellers Named to Missouri Power 30 List for Appellate Law
(KANSAS CITY, MO) March 1, 2021 — Lathrop GPM Partner Kent Sellers was named to the Missouri Lawyers Media “Power 30” list for 2021 in recognition of his appellate work.
Sellers has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in complex legal disputes. He was recognized for two cases before the Missouri Supreme Court, one that reversed dismissal of a real estate client’s claim for inverse condemnation and a case spanning five years regarding the expungement of an arrest following a mistaken accusation of cheating at a casino. He was also recognized for a case with the Western District Court of Appeals finding that an automobile dealers association lacked standing to challenge a car maker’s direct-to-consumer sales model.
Sellers has also been named among The Best Lawyers in America® since 2008 and was named the Kansas City, Mo. Appellate Practice “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers in 2013 and 2020.
