Roxana Malladi

Roxana Malladi is a patent agent supporting clients primarily within the firm's Intellectual Property practice group, and works on patent preparation and prosecution, including patent application preparation and office action prosecution. Roxana joined the firm after operating as an independent patent analyst and engineer for five years, drafting and prosecuting patents for clients in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

Roxana earned her Master's degree in Computer and Information Services from the University of Florida in 1994. After graduation, for 10+ years, she gained experience in product development and software engineering in the search engine, content, telecommunications and business intelligence spaces. 

Following her work as a software engineer and analyst, Roxana became an IP professional at the global research division of a multinational conglomerate. She has specific experience with:

  • Machine learning and cloud platforms
  • Digital twins
  • Industrial systems and
  • Wireless sensor networks, particularly in healthcare

Roxana received a Patent Information Specialist Diploma from the Global Institute of Intellectual Property in 2014, and she became a registered patent practitioner-agent in April 2023. Roxana lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband. They have two grown children.
