The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers Inducts Rosalee McNamara as Fellow


Rosalee McNamara (Labor & Employment - Kansas City), was inducted Saturday night in Denver as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. This honor represents the highest recognition by one's colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence.

Saturday's program marked the twelfth installation of Fellows, and coincided with the American Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law Section's Continuing Legal Education Conference taking place in Denver. The College was established in 1995 through an initiative of the Council of The Section of Labor and Employment Law of The American Bar Association. With the current installation, the College is represented by over 950 members in 42 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Canada.

McNamara represents businesses in employment matters throughout the United States. She serves as the Missouri and Kansas representative for the Employment Law Alliance, a global alliance of leading employment attorneys founded to better serve global clients. She has successfully litigated, from charge to summary judgment or jury verdict, numerous cases including alleged sexual harassment, race, age, sex, national origin, disability and religion discrimination cases, and Family and Medical Leave Act cases, and regularly counsels clients regarding these issues and wage and hour laws, hiring and background check procedures, employee discipline and termination, and employee drug and alcohol testing policies and procedures.
