Lathrop Gage Adds Brian Fries to Executive Committee

Lathrop Gage L.C. has announced that Brian Fries (Business Litigation - Kansas City) has joined the firm's Executive Committee. Mr. Fries, who chairs the firm's litigation division, began a three-year term effective July 1, 2008.

The Executive Committee develops the firm's strategic direction and policies, oversees the financial matters and department managers, and serves as a liaison to the firm's regional offices and operating committees. Its other members are Bill Beck (Environmental - Kansas City), Allison Bergman (Real Estate, Government Relations - Kansas City), Frank Evans (Business Litigation - Springfield), Andy Ramirez (Healthcare - Overland Park) and Bill Rudy (Intellectual Property - Kansas City).

Mr. Fries has overseen numerous complex litigation disputes throughout the United States. These include general business disputes, director and officer liability claims, real estate disputes, shareholder and securities litigation, partnership disputes, insurance coverage disputes, consumer class action and single plaintiff claims, banking related claims, and a variety of breach of contract and fraud claims. He has also represented individuals and businesses in professional malpractice and catastrophic injury claims.
