Sports Law Symposium Features Bernie Rhodes on Recent Court IP and Sports Decisions

Bernie Rhodes (Media Law - Kansas City) will be a featured panelist as part of the UMKC Entertainment and Sports Law Society's "Where Sports and Intellectual Property Collide" symposium, April 20 in Kansas City. This panel will prepare a look at the impact of recent court decisions involving sports and IP.

Mr. Rhodes will specifically present on "Arguing For Real Rights of Publicity in a Fantasy World (CDM Fantasy Sports v. MLBPA)," at 1 p.m. He will be joined by Russell Jones Jr. of Polsinelli Shughart PC, and Rebecca Stroder of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal, LLP.

A veteran media litigator, Mr. Rhodes has more than 20 years experience litigating complex business and commercial disputes throughout the United States.
