Lathrop Gage Promotes Seven to Partner

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jan. 16, 2015) - Lathrop Gage announced that Chad Blomberg, Amy Brozenic, Courtney Conrad, Lisa Hansen, James Jeffries, Julie Roth and Tim Sendek have been elected to partner status effective January 1, 2015. 

Chad Blomberg (Toxic Tort – Kansas City): Blomberg’s practice focuses on defending agricultural and mining interests against claims brought by neighboring landowners and government entities. Most recently, he received two appellate wins in the same day for the firm’s clients in the Missouri Supreme Court. 

Amy Brozenic (Intellectual Property – Overland Park):  Brozenic focuses her efforts on copyright and trademark law and advises clients on all areas of trademark portfolio management, including domestic and international trademark registration, enforcement procedures, and licensing of trademarks and copyrights. 

Courtney Conrad (Wealth Strategies – Overland Park): Conrad concentrates her practice in the area of estates and trusts law. Conrad also has experience in basic and sophisticated estate planning, charitable planning, and wealth preservation planning, among others. 

Lisa Hansen (Tax and Employee Benefits – Kansas City): Hansen focuses her practice on all aspects of federal income taxation. She regularly works with state income, franchise and sales and tax issues, which includes litigation before administrative bodies in Missouri and Kansas. 

James Jeffries (Real Estate – Springfield): Jeffries focuses his efforts on sale contracts, lease negotiations and documentation, community improvement district formation, transportation development, district formation, zoning and land use proceedings, among others.

Julie Roth (Health Care – Overland Park): Roth represents large health systems, hospitals, physician practices and other types of healthcare providers. She has experience in the sale and acquisition of hospitals and large physician practices and the development of complex joint ventures.

Tim Sendek (Intellectual Property – Chicago): Sendek focuses his efforts on patent, trademark and copyright defense litigation. He also has prosecuted patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
