Lathrop GPM Adds Ed De Castro as Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting
(January 24, 2022) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that Ed De Castro joins the firm as Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting. In this newly created role at the firm, De Castro will work closely with the Executive Committee and others to implement creative strategies for sourcing and recruiting partner level candidates, oversee recruiting efforts to increase the pipeline of prospective partner candidates, and direct the day-to-day process for active partner recruiting. De Castro is based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Previously De Castro led lateral recruitment efforts for Quarles & Brady LLP. Before Quarles & Brady, he was a Senior Internal Recruiter for 12 years at Major, Lindsey & Africa, a leading global attorney search firm that helps major corporations and law firms acquire top legal talent.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2005.
