Lathrop GPM Named a “Best Law Firm for Women”
(June 22, 2021) — Working Mother revealed its 14th “Best Law Firms for Women” list today, recognizing firms that utilize best practices in recruiting, retaining, promoting, and developing women lawyers. Lathrop GPM was among the 50 firms that earned a spot on this year’s list.
"We are honored that Lathrop GPM has been named a Best Law Firm for Women,” said Managing Partner Cameron Garrison. “The firm is committed to hiring, supporting, and advancing women attorneys. It is nice to be recognized externally for such efforts.”
The firms were listed for highly compensating female partners, offering more extended parental-leave benefits, encouraging a more flexible work environment, plus more. Several of the Best Law Firms for Women, including Lathrop GPM, also offer parent-resource groups, in support of moms and dads; and have expanded women’s initiatives and programs dedicated to the mentoring, sponsorship, and promotion of female lawyers, as well as diversity and inclusion programs.
About the Methodology
The 2021 Working Mother Best Law Firms for Women application, administered by the Working Mother Research Institute, included more than 300 questions about attorney demographics at different levels, schedule flexibility, paid time off and parental leaves, and development and retention of women.
