Lathrop GPM Attorneys in Minnesota Recognized for Pro Bono Service

Minneapolis (June 15, 2021) – The Minnesota State Bar Association honored 13 Minnesota-based Lathrop GPM attorneys as 2020 North Star Lawyers, certifying these individuals provided at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services in the past year to low-income people. Lathrop GPM attorneys nationwide across the firm’s 12 offices provide pro bono counsel to numerous organizations and individuals in need of legal services, and several of the firm’s Minnesota attorneys are named to the North Star Lawyer list annually.

The Lathrop GPM 2020 North Star Lawyers for Minnesota are as follows:

These attorneys assisted children, adults and organizations in a wide range of legal service areas, including adoption, business, copyright, entrepreneurial, environmental, financial, housing, human rights, real estate, tax and more.

The Minnesota State Bar Association recognized 757 North Star Lawyers in 2020. Together, the North Star Lawyers contributed more than 86,000 hours of service at an estimated value of $21.5 million for the past year. Each North Star Lawyer certified to providing at least 50 or more hours of legal service, as defined in Rule 6.1(a), (b)(1) and (b)(2) of the Rules of Professional Conduct, in the given calendar year.
