Two Lathrop GPM Partners Named 2020 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers


(Aug. 10, 2020) – Lathrop GPM Partners Wendi Alper-Pressman and Dorraine Larison are named among the 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers by Lawdragon in its inaugural list. The list recognizes those who are skilled in “financing, structuring, litigating and creating a pathway forward,” based on nominations, research and vetting by a board of peer attorneys and clients.

Alper-Pressman, a partner based in St. Louis, Missouri, has more than thirty-five years of experience through multiple business cycles representing both financial institutions of all sizes and businesses in loan workouts, restructurings, forbearance agreements, bankruptcy proceedings and enforcement actions. Alper-Pressman serves on the Board of the Risk Management Association of St. Louis, is member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.

Larison, a partner based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, has extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy law and debtor/creditor law, including commercial financing, creditors’ rights, and creditor bankruptcy matters. Larison works with banks and other creditors, assisting her clients with the many facets of their businesses. In addition, Larison was instrumental in establishing the firm’s outstate Minnesota debtor/creditor clinics with various legal aid entities and speaks to high school and college students about the traps of easy credit and high-interest debt.
