Missouri In-House Counsel Speaks to Brian Woolley on Possible Impact of Proposed Federal Rule on Overtime Pay

7/3/2019

The U.S. Department of Labor proposes an increase to the salary threshold in which workers are entitled to overtime pay. Woolley told Missouri In-House Counsel that if the proposal is adopted, it should shrink the need for litigation involving duties disagreements for overtime. However, he said new lawsuits could also arise from increased attention to the issue resulting from publicity about the rule change.
