Kansas City Business Journal recently featured Lathrop GPM Partner Issaku Yamaashi's move to the firm's growing M&A practice. After 20 years at Foulston Siefkin's Overland Park office, Issaku resigned and accepted a position in the Business Transactions Practice Group at Lathrop GPM's Kansas City office.
"I was there for over 20 years, so the decision was not a light one," Yamaashi said. "But Lathrop has an incredibly strong reputation, not just in the Midwest region but beyond. They have 325 lawyers, which is an incredibly deep bench, with great health care, transactional, securities and tax practice. So this is just a great opportunity for me to not just serve my existing clients better, but expand my practice as well."
