(May 4, 2026) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce the addition of four associates across four of its offices. Kristopher Fernandez joins the Chicago office, Nathan Moorse joins in Minneapolis, Rachel McCauley joins in Redwood Shores and Vy Do joins in Denver. The new attorneys bring valuable experience and enhance the firm’s bench breadth and depth in three practice areas.
Fernandez joins the firm’s Tort, Insurance & Environmental practice group, focusing his practice on complex litigation and insurance-related matters. He represents corporate clients in commercial disputes, class actions, mass torts and financial services litigation in state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced as a litigation associate at national law firms in Chicago. Fernandez earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. from Northeastern University.
Moorse joins the firm’s Business Transactions practice group, assisting clients with a broad range of corporate matters. He supports businesses of various sizes on entity formation, contract drafting and review, day-to-day corporate matters and business transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as corporate counsel for a large multinational financial institution. In that role, Moorse researched and monitored state and federal legislation related to consumer protection and financial fraud. Moorse earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law and his B.A. in Biology from the University of Kansas.
McCauley joins the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group, focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation and antitrust matters. She represents clients in disputes pending in California state and federal courts and assists case teams across all phases of the litigation life cycle. Her experience includes robust motion drafting, advising on litigation strategy and managing discovery in complex matters. Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, McCauley served as a judicial intern in federal and state courts. McCauley was recognized by Best Lawyers as “One to Watch” in 2026 and by the Northern District of California’s Pro Bono Committee as a member of the trial team of the year in 2023. She earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A. in Business Economics and Psychology from the University of California – Santa Barbara.
Do joins the firm’s Business Transactions practice group, focusing her practice on energy-related transactions. She advises clients on a range of matters involving oil and gas title, mineral and leasehold ownership and related transactional issues. She brings extensive experience analyzing title documents and transactional instruments affecting oil and gas assets. Prior to joining the firm, Do practiced at a Houston-based firm where her work concentrated on oil and gas title examination and transactional support. Earlier in her career, Do served as a curative landman. Do earned her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law Houston and her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Houston-Downtown.
