Vy Do is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions group, where she focuses her practice on energy‑related transactions. She advises clients on a range of matters involving oil and gas title, mineral and leasehold ownership, and related transactional issues.

Vy brings significant experience analyzing title documents and transactional instruments affecting oil and gas assets, including leases, assignments, participation agreements, unit designations, and related conveyance documents. She regularly assists with determining mineral, surface, unit, and leasehold ownership and has experience drafting original, supplemental, and division order title opinions across multiple regions of Texas. Her work includes advising on title curative matters and evaluating risk considerations associated with title requirements and waivers.

Prior to joining the firm, Vy practiced at a Houston‑based firm where her work concentrated on oil and gas title examination and transactional support. She also has experience managing residential and commercial real estate transactions and advising clients through closing processes. Earlier in her career, Vy served as a curative landman, where she coordinated title research, managed curative projects, and drafted recordable instruments to resolve title issues across multiple Texas counties.
