Nate Moorse, an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions practice group, assists clients with a broad range of corporate matters. He supports businesses of various sizes on entity formation, contract drafting and review, day-to-day corporate matters and business transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Nate worked as corporate counsel for a large, multinational financial institution. There, he researched and monitored state and federal legislation related to consumer protection and financial fraud, translating legal developments into actionable policy recommendations. He also prepared litigation strategy memoranda, including patent venue analysis assessing the institution’s business footprint to mitigate risk. Additionally, Nate conducted research related to the Federal Reserve and developed educational materials for government relations executives.

During law school, Nate served as a Student Director and Certified Student Attorney at the Business Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic at the University of Minnesota School of Law. He represented small businesses in transactional matters, drafting operating agreements and professional services agreements, and preparing materials related to intellectual property and mergers and acquisitions. He also handled LLC entity formations and advised on beneficial ownership reporting requirements. Nate served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John F. Docherty of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
