Libbi Wilson concentrates on helping tax-exempt organizations – such as universities, colleges, health care systems, hospitals, foundations, advocacy organizations and long-term care providers – achieve their business goals, including nonprofit formation, tax-exempt organization compliance, corporate governance, charitable solicitations, donor and endowment fund issues, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general business matters. Libbi also assists health care providers with state and federal regulatory compliance.

Libbi earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was a student attorney in the Ronald M. Mankoff Tax Clinic. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Matthew E. Johnson of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Libbi was a participant in the Lathrop GPM Summer Associate program and clerked for the Labor & Employment group by conducting higher education investigations on behalf of institutions.

Prior to attending law school, Libbi worked in international higher education at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan and Lanzhou University in Lanzhou, China.
