Liam O’Connor represents financial institutions, businesses and individuals in creditors’ rights and commercial litigation matters in federal, state and bankruptcy courts.

Liam’s focus is on creditor-side litigation involving loan workouts; forbearance/loan modification agreements; loan sale agreements; real property and mixed collateral foreclosures; UCC Article 9 enforcement; real estate, pre-judgment enforcement remedies such as writs of attachment and appointment of receiver; and bankruptcy.

I knew that I wanted to be part of the Lathrop GPM team immediately after I walked into the office for the first time. It was readily apparent that the people were extremely talented leaders in their profession that were also humble, personable and cared about each other and their community. This combination of excellence, character and integrity is truly unique, and continues to set Lathrop GPM apart from other firms.

Liam has also developed extensive experience enforcing multi-million dollar judgments against individuals, corporations and limited liability companies.

In his spare time, Liam enjoys ice hockey, off-road motorcycling, restoring classic cars, and building and flying radio-controlled model aircraft.
