Brandi Lawler is a corporate attorney who brings a strategic, multidisciplinary perspective to complex business transactions. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and general corporate law.

Brandi works closely with family-owned businesses, closely held companies and health care organizations, offering tailored advice that supports both immediate operational needs and long-term goals. She is a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, providing day-to-day counsel for small businesses, strategic transactions guidance for large corporations, and investment terms analysis and negotiation for investor groups.

Brandi serves clients across various industries, with significant experience in health care, medical technology, manufacturing and energy. Her experience includes:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Guiding buyers and sellers through complex transactions, including asset acquisitions and divestitures.

Before joining Lathrop GPM, Brandi practiced at a boutique Minnesota-based firm where she focused on corporate law and energy and in the international corporate group of a multinational firm. While earning her J.D., Brandi was a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Donovan W. Frank of the Federal District Court – District of Minnesota. In addition to her legal experience, Brandi worked for a multinational consumer electronic retailer as a statistical demand forecast analyst and has an in-depth knowledge of the minerals exploration and mining industry gained through her on-going pursuit of a Ph.D. in Economic Geology.
