Four Attorneys Promoted to Counsel

Lathrop GPM is proud to announce that four of its attorneys have been promoted to counsel at the firm, effective Jan. 1, 2022. The newly promoted attorneys are Eli Bensignor, Wade Hauser, Sarah Lintecum and Karen Rippelmeyer.

Here is additional information about each attorney:

Eli Bensignor (Franchise & Distribution – Minneapolis) dedicates his practice to franchise, distribution, and licensing matters. He counsels emerging and seasoned franchisors across the U.S. on day-to-day matters, including analyzing and drafting agreements and commercial contracts, filing registrations, and advising on regulatory compliance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Bensignor has experience with commercial litigation matters, protecting his clients' rights by enforcing franchise agreements and related contracts.

Wade Hauser (Health & Nonprofit Organizations – Minneapolis) centers his practice on helping tax-exempt organizations — such as health and long-term care providers, colleges, foundations, and advocacy organizations — meet their objectives.  Hauser regularly guides nonprofits through major transactions including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and financings.

Sarah Lintecum (Insurance Recovery & Counseling – Kansas City) primarily focuses her practice on insurance coverage and environmental law. Her experience includes representing clients in administrative negotiations with the Environmental Protection Agency and state governmental agencies, advising clients regarding their regulatory requirements, and assisting in litigation of environmental claims, including cost recovery and contribution claims under the federal Superfund law. She also advises clients on compliance and permitting under federal environmental laws and regulations.

Karen Rippelmeyer (Real Estate & Tax Credit – St. Louis) focuses her practice on real estate and tax credit financing. Rippelmeyer works with equity investors, developers, lenders and tax credit allocatees in a variety of real estate matters involving federal, state and local tax credits and incentives including new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and low-income housing tax credits. She also advises clients on various real estate issues regarding the acquisition, development, and financing of commercial, senior, and multi-family residential property.
