Kansas City, MO (July 15, 2026)—Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that Counsel Joshua Kolb and Associate Ashley Parsons have joined the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. The additions reflect the firm’s continued investment in delivering sophisticated litigation counsel to clients navigating complex legal disputes.
Kolb joins the firm’s St. Louis office, where his practice centers on protecting businesses through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit strategy through trial and appeal. He has represented clients across hundreds of cases, including the nation’s largest automobile manufacturer and automobile dealers in Missouri in breach of warranty and consumer protection actions. His work also extends to personal injury matters involving premises and auto liability and complex appellate proceedings, including matters before the Missouri Supreme Court. Kolb’s record includes successful summary judgment rulings and defense verdicts in both jury and bench trials.
Parsons joins the firm’s San Jose office, bringing courtroom experience as a former Deputy District Attorney with the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure there, she managed a caseload of more than 200 misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, conducted 10 jury trials and argued more than 60 preliminary hearings. That background informs her current approach to litigation strategy, client communication and practical problem-solving in complex disputes.
The arrivals of Kolb and Parsons build on Lathrop GPM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its nationwide Litigation & Dispute Resolution capabilities across its offices, providing clients with depth of counsel at every stage of a dispute.
