Brent’s dedication to resolving clients’ problems and the legal profession underscores his standing as a trusted advisor and litigator. He can often resolve complex legal disputes without litigation – a more efficient, less costly, and less contentious outcome for clients. When asked how he wants to be known by clients, Brent said, “I hope to be known as a passionate advocate who provides sound legal counsel to clients.”
Brenton “Brent” Vincent is a distinguished Chicago litigator with more than two decades of experience managing insurance and commercial disputes. He often deals with clients facing significant, potentially existential, liabilities and works to resolve those liabilities. He takes time to understand the client’s business and goals and how each matter affects them. He then collaborates with each client to bring about the necessary resolution.
When asked…
Why did you become a lawyer?
I became an attorney because a just, fair and accessible legal system where everyone is equal in the eyes of the law is the basis of our society. I am honored to be a part of and an advocate for that system.
What do you do outside of work?
Outside of work, I do a lot of volunteer work. I enjoy serving on the Chicago Bar Foundation board of directors. I am also a former member of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services board of directors. I enjoy exploring our national parks. I am a Cubs, Bears and soccer fan, and most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three children.
