Annie Kim is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice group, where she represents clients in complex patent and technology disputes across a range of industries, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and e-commerce. She brings a strategic and detail-oriented approach to all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through trial, with experience managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions and preparing expert witnesses and technical evidence.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Annie practiced at an AM Law 100 firm, where she played a key role in securing multimillion-dollar verdicts in high-stakes patent infringement cases. Her work included developing trial strategy, managing discovery and coordinating with in-house counsel and technical teams to align litigation goals with business objectives. She also advised clients on licensing matters and helped emerging technology companies develop IP monetization strategies.

Annie’s background in eDiscovery and legal technology further enhances her ability to manage large-scale litigation efficiently. She has worked closely with vendors, expert witnesses and review teams to ensure quality and consistency in document review and production. Annie earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. She is fluent in Korean, with limited working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
