Alec Atkinson leverages his litigation expertise to navigate businesses and individuals through complex civil litigation matters, including business, real estate, and employment disputes. Alec has represented clients in a variety of matters involving breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, and restrictive covenants.

While in law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, he was a member of the Veterans Clinic where he aided veterans and their families with their disability benefits claims by providing analysis and preparing briefs. In addition, Alec participated in the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic where he provided legal services to members of the university and local communities seeking to establish businesses.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Alec worked as an associate focusing on commercial litigation matters at a St. Louis-area law firm. Upon graduating law school, he worked for a regional defense law firm specializing in workers’ compensation, where he gained extensive experience working with employers and insurers from several industries.
