Partner Loren Hansen Appointed Leader of Lathrop GPM IP Litigation Practice Group
(Feb. 11, 2022) – Lathrop GPM Partner Loren Hansen has been named Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, effective immediately.
Hansen is a Registered Patent Attorney and first chair trial lawyer, whose well-rounded background in both software development and chemical engineering gives him the technical knowledge to effectively represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings in complex patent infringement, software/technology disputes, and intellectual property enforcement matters. A dedicated firm leader, Hansen is a former co-chair of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group, chair of the associate recruiting committee, and served as a member of the firm’s finance committee.

Prior to Hansen’s appointment to the role, Director of Practice Management Kate Tompkins and Manager of Practice Support Lisa Schlappi helped lead the IP Litigation Practice Group. Tompkins continues to be Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Lathrop GPM’s Intellectual Property Litigation team assists clients on a wide range of complex intellectual property issues, including trademark litigation, trade secret litigation, patent litigation, and copyright litigation.
