Lathrop GPM associate Lu Li was recently featured in Minnesota Lawyer‘s ‘Breaking the Ice’ series, where she spoke about being named Outstanding New Lawyer of the Year by the Minnesota State Bar Association. The award recognizes her professional achievements, pro bono service with organizations such as the Advocates for Human Rights and her commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession.
Reflecting on the honor, Li shared: “I would like to think of this as acknowledgement of my legal work and my involvement in the community. But most importantly, it’s a great motivation for me to live up to this honor.”
Li, a first-generation college and law student, practices in the firm’s Business Transactions group and remains active in several bar associations, including the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association.
