Kansas City, MO (July 15, 2026)—Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Madeline Mann as an associate in the firm’s Tort, Insurance Recovery and Environmental Practice Group in its Kansas City office.
Mann represents clients in complex litigation matters, with a focus on tort, insurance, environmental, product liability and class action defense. She assists clients through all stages of the litigation process, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, trial preparation and related case strategy.
Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Mann was a litigation associate at another large Missouri-based law firm, where she managed complex matters involving fire and electrical liability claims, class action litigation and commercial disputes. Before entering private practice, she served as an arson investigator with Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services and worked as a firefighter and paramedic. This background provides her with firsthand technical knowledge of fire origin and cause investigations, emergency response operations and the complex factual issues that frequently arise in fire loss, product liability and catastrophic injury matters.
During law school, Mann served as a legal intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas and as a Douglass Fellow with the Human Trafficking Institute, where she contributed to the Federal Human Trafficking Report and helped organize an anti-trafficking continuing legal education program for the Kansas City legal community.
Mann has been recognized by Missouri Lawyers Media as a Leader of Tomorrow. She is co-author of “Nexus Between Major Events and Human Trafficking,” published in the Domestic Preparedness Journal in November 2024.
