BOSTON (February 25, 2026) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that life sciences patent Partner Lisa Hillman has been honored in the inaugural Boston Elite Intellectual Property rankings by The Legal 500.
The Boston Elite Intellectual Property list marks a new regional expansion by The Legal 500. Honorees are selected based on in‑depth client and peer feedback and the publication’s independent assessment of professional accomplishments.
Hillman’s recognition follows a strong year for Lathrop GPM in The Legal 500. In October 2025, the firm had multiple partners named in The Legal 500 United States guide, which highlights outstanding lawyers across more than 100 practice areas nationwide.
“We are thrilled to see Lisa recognized in this inaugural ranking,” said Kate Tompkins, leader of Lathrop GPM’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. “Her strategic insight and dedication to client service represent the best of our firm’s IP practice.”
Hillman’s practice focuses on strategic patent counseling both domestically and internationally, concentrating on biotechnology and life sciences. She advises start-ups, universities and global pharmaceutical companies on a broad spectrum of intellectual property matters, including portfolio development, enforcement strategies and patent prosecution. She is consistently recognized for her leadership and practical, business‑focused counsel.
