Kansas City (May 6, 2025) — Lathrop GPM is pleased to welcome Associate James T. Schmidt, Jr. to the firm’s Kansas City Office and Financial Services Practice Group.
Schmidt represents clients in a variety of fiscal matters, including secured and unsecured creditor representation, bankruptcy and restructuring, and related commercial litigation. His arrival strengthens the firm’s bench breadth and depth in these and other areas.
Schmidt earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2022 and received his B.S. in Mass Communications from the Kansas State University in 2017.
