KANSAS CITY, MO (October 30, 2025) — Lathrop GPM is proud to announce that associate Dara Alvarado has been named to the 2025 class of “20 in Their Twenties” by Ingram’s . This annual feature celebrates the accomplishments of Kansas City’s rising young professionals and highlights individuals who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and promise in their fields.
Alvarado is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions practice group, where she focuses her practice on corporate finance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and business law. She has experience with complex financing transactions, including revolving credit facilities, construction loans and assisting startups from formation through rounds of private financing.
Outside of her legal practice, Alvarado is actively involved in the Kansas City community and serves on the Boards of Visit KC, an economic development organization dedicated to being the heart of the tourism industry in Kansas City, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City. She earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Alvarado was a founding member of the UMKC Diverse Student Coalition.
