CHICAGO (August 17, 2026) – Lathrop GPM is pleased to announce that Partner Brent Vincent has been recognized as a 2026 Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Leader in Accounting, Consultancy and Law.
The Crain’s recognition honors outstanding professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, significant career achievements and meaningful civic and philanthropic engagement within the Chicago community.
Vincent brings more than 27 years of experience representing corporations, businesses, landowners and municipalities in complex insurance and commercial disputes. His practice encompasses insurance coverage and recovery, commercial litigation, tort defense, eminent domain, environmental and land use litigation, and insurance counseling. He also has been recognized by Chambers USA in Insurance: Dispute Resolution (Policyholder) in Illinois since 2025 and by Legal 500 U.S. City Elite for Insurance Litigation in Chicago in 2026.
Since joining Lathrop GPM in 2024, Vincent has led the firm’s nationally recognized insurance recovery team through a period of strategic growth and renewed momentum. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm, he has helped advance the team’s vision, strengthen professional development initiatives, expand thought leadership efforts and recruit top talent nationwide.
In addition to his legal practice, Vincent is a dedicated community leader. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Chicago Bar Foundation and has held numerous leadership positions supporting access to justice initiatives throughout Chicago.
