Dori Yob Kilmer serves as Lathrop GPM’s Chief of Legal Operations. She leads the firm’s Knowledge Management, Legal Recruiting and Practice Management teams. She is the former executive director of Hopkins Carley, which combined with Lathrop GPM in October 2024.

In her role as a litigator, Dori represents a wide range of clients in complex real estate, land use, and business litigation matters.  She represents developers and property owners in disputes involving:

  • Boundary and property lines
  • Commercial landlord-tenant
  • Easements
  • Real estate investment fraud
  • Real estate purchase and sale transactions

As a dedicated community leader, Dori is a past chair of the San Jose Planning Commission. She is a long-time member of the women’s volunteer organization, Junior League of San Jose, and served on the Board of Directors of Notre Dame High School. She is also a graduate of Community Leadership San Jose.

Dori earned her bachelor’s degree in justice studies and political science, graduating magna cum laude from Arizona State University, and subsequently obtained her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, Dori served as a judicial extern to Hon. Jeremy Fogel in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
