Stephanie Bradshaw is Counsel in the firm’s Tort, Insurance & Environmental practice group, where she draws on more than ten years of experience handling complex litigation, high‑stakes investigations and matters involving financial exposure and organizational risk. Her background as a federal prosecutor and civil litigator uniquely positions her to navigate claims involving alleged negligence, product‑related issues, commercial torts, insurance coverage disputes, and matters with substantial factual or investigative components.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Stephanie served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri. During her nearly five years as a federal prosecutor, she prosecuted a wide range of crimes, managing investigations from inception to conclusion and trying multiple federal jury cases. She also advised on matters involving restitution and forfeiture, directing complex financial investigations and prosecutions – experience that gives her a strong ability to navigate cases with significant monetary implications. Her work included developing complex factual records, working closely with federal agents and other investigators, and litigating contested issues – skills she now brings to defending insureds and corporate clients in sophisticated tort and insurance matters.

Stephanie began her career practicing at an international law firm, with a focus on commercial litigation. She also clerked for the Honorable Holly L. Teeter of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and completed judicial internships with multiple Missouri courts, giving her valuable insight into the judicial decision‑making process. She earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where she graduated in the top 25% of her class, served as Senior Lead Articles Editor of the Missouri Law Review, and received multiple academic awards. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism with a minor in Business from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
