Sara K. Bell is an accomplished paralegal in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, where she plays a crucial role in supporting clients with their trademark and copyright matters.

Sara has extensive experience in managing the maintenance of a trademark portfolio with over 2500 marks. She coordinates and manages the prosecution of U.S. trademark portfolios, including preparing and filing new applications, responses to office actions, statements of use and declarations of use and incontestability with the USPTO. She also manages international portfolios, handing new applications, renewals, assignment documents and enforcement issues with foreign counsel. Her meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are invaluable in navigating the complexities of IP law.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Sara gained experience as a trademark paralegal at another Minneapolis-area firm. She holds a Paralegal Certificate from North Hennepin Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing from the University of North Dakota.
