Sam Beck is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions practice group and brings a unique perspective to clients, having worked in both blue-and-white-collar roles in the energy industry. From working as a floorhand on a drilling rig in Northern Louisiana, to filling seismic shot hole with bentonite in remote areas of Pennsylvania, to working as an independent land negotiator for various brokerages in the Rocky Mountain region, he has firsthand experience working for a diverse set of energy industry participants and helping them achieve desired outcomes.

After law school and prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Sam served for 12 years as vice president for a land services brokerage that provided its energy industry clients with various services in the areas of title, leasing, abstracting, curative, and right-of-way acquisition, among other things.
