I strongly adhere to the principle, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” This mindset shapes how I interact with people and tackle challenges. In my work, I balance a sharp analytical focus with the ability to see the larger picture to help clients discern and preserve their legacies.

When asked…
Why did you become a lawyer?
I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people solve problems. It is gratifying to help individuals and family businesses identify what they want their legacy to be and then design plans to make that happen. Clients are grateful when we’ve crafted a plan that reflects their wishes for their assets. I sometimes joke that “I sell peace of mind,” but it’s true. Knowing a legacy is secure gives clients a sense of relief and confidence in the future.
What do you do outside of work?
Outside of work, I serve on several non-profit boards, connecting me to meaningful causes. I have a strong love for travel, especially to Europe. I sing in two community choirs and also study French and ballet. Being part of a monthly book club allows me to relax and enjoy good books. Regardless of the weather, I love walking outdoors year-round. As a former ski racer who founded my high school and college women’s ski teams, I take every opportunity to hit the slopes.
