Ryan Cangarlu advises clients on franchising, distribution and licensing matters, guiding businesses through the legal and regulatory landscape of growth and expansion. He works with both emerging brands and established franchisors on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, commercial lease negotiations and capital raising strategies.
Ryan also counsels clients on franchise compliance, registration and disclosure requirements. His experience includes drafting franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and multi-unit development agreements, as well as responding to state comment letters.
Before joining the firm, Ryan served as an associate at an Am Law 100 firm, where he served clients in the Corporate practice group. He also gained experience as a legal intern with Stratus Building Solutions and as a summer associate at the Federal Trade Commission.
