Michelle McCullough brings more than 20 years of experience driving operational excellence and transformative change within law firms. She began her career with a strong focus on Intellectual Property and later expanded her experience into Finance, Trusts & Estates, and Real Estate. Today, Michelle supports two key practice groups at Lathrop GPM: Financial Services and Labor, Employment & Higher Education.

She partners closely with Practice Group leaders to align operational strategies with business goals and fosters engagement and satisfaction among practice group members to drive collaboration and performance. Michelle leads initiatives that strengthen practice group success in areas such as operations, technology, financial management and lawyer development.

Her experience spans strategic planning, process improvement, budgeting, recruiting and training. Recognized for cultivating positive relationships and embracing innovation, Michelle leverages emerging technologies – including AI – to optimize law firm operations and deliver strategic value.

Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and East Asian Languages & Culture from the University of Kansas and completed a Paralegal Certificate program at Hamline University. She also holds a Yellow Belt in Legal Lean Sigma and additional certifications. Committed to ongoing professional development, Michelle is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), and the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).
