Matt Scheidker practices in the firm’s Private Client Services practice group, focusing on providing trust and estate services to individuals and families at all stages of life, and helping manage the complexities of wealth preservation and distribution. He is experienced in irrevocable and revocable trust administration, estate settlement, tax advice and business planning matters. Matt drafts wills and trusts in addition to advising high net-worth clients on estate planning matters. 

Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked as a Trust Officer at a national bank holding company, where he supported accounts for corporations and non-profit organizations, in addition to being responsible for the administration of trusts. As a law student, Matt worked as a student extern for the Internal Revenue Service in the Office of the Chief Counsel, where he inspected audit reports and evaluated tax issues that were pending litigation.

Outside of his legal practice, Matt volunteers in the St. Louis community at the Central Missouri Food Bank and the American Cancer Society. He is also an Eagle Scout and works with the Boy Scouts of America as a Troop Adult Volunteer.
