Lauryn Masters is an associate in Lathrop GPM’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group in Kansas City. She brings experience from two federal clerkships – most recently as a term law clerk to the Honorable Kurt D. Engelhardt on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and before that as a term law clerk to the Honorable Daniel D. Crabtree on the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
Lauryn earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Washington University School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif and earned a Certificate in Public Interest Law. She also served as a Senior Executive Editor of the Washington University Law Review (Vol. 101) and student attorney in the Washington University First Amendment Clinic.
Before law school, Lauryn graduated from Evangel University, earning a B.B.A. in Management. She is no stranger to Lathrop GPM, having spent two summers with the firm as a summer associate in 2022 and 2023, working across tort, environmental, bankruptcy, insurance, immigration and class action matters.
