Kate Ohale is a Patent Specialist supporting clients primarily within the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Kate brings over 9 years of experience supporting patent attorneys and agents with both domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution. She has particular experience with:

  • Coordinating filings and ongoing prosecution with foreign associates, including meeting deadlines, document management and reporting, and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken per client instructions;
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of PCT and National Phase applications along with meeting formality document requirements from different jurisdictions;
  • Review of documents and dockets, and initiating appropriate follow-up action.

Kate is also a Texas Notary Public and previously worked in healthcare.
