Holly Lechner is an associate supporting clients primarily within the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice group. Holly joined the firm after working as a summer associate in 2022, where she prepared legal research, drafted legal memos, and assisted attorneys on a myriad of franchise, financial services and intellectual property litigation matters.

Prior to her career in law, Holly served as a senior administrative assistant in the law department at a Minnesota nonprofit health care provider and health insurance company, where she proofed contracts and drafted responses for department attorneys. In 2023, Holly earned her J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude. While in law school, Holly participated in the Mitchell Hamline Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and she served in multiple leadership roles, including as President. Holly also furthered her legal writing and research skills, receiving the Burton Award for Excellence in Legal Writing in 2020, and eventually claiming multiple CALI Awards, including those for Trademark Law and Intellectual Property Litigation.

Holly is passionate about understanding her clients’ needs and protecting their intellectual property. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sewing clothing and costumes, and tap dancing.
