Hashini Rathnayaka is a paralegal supporting clients within the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Hashini has 5+ years of experience in civil and corporate litigation; particularly in legal research and assisting attorneys with depositions and trial preparation. She provides guidance and assistance working in all steps of the discovery and e-filing processes.

Hashini additionally has specialized information technology, commercial real estate, project management and international transactional experience, which establishes her as an indispensable addition to any team.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Hashini served as a litigation paralegal at a Florida law firm specializing in personal injury and property loss. Further, she has obtained the Attorney-at-Law professional qualification from Sri Lanka Law College, and has also served as a Real Estate Lawyer (Conveyancer) for the United Kingdom. Rathnayaka previously served as the Professional Development Director of the Rotaract Club of Faculty of Law at the University of Colombo, where she chaired the first ever mediation conference in Sri Lanka with the participation of a 250+ person audience. Hashini additionally previously served as an advisor to the AIESEC national Board of Directors as part of the Harassment Prevention Committee.
