Brody Sabor is a skilled appellate attorney whose practice focuses on post-conviction relief. Brody has experience handling a wide range of appellate matters, including:

  • Direct appeals: Filing and arguing appeals of criminal convictions.
  • Post-conviction appeals: Filing and arguing appeals of post-conviction relief decisions.
  • Habeas corpus petitions: Filing and arguing federal habeas corpus petitions.

Brody received his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Brody further developed his advocacy skills serving as Submissions and Symposia Editor for the UMKC Law Review, Secretary for the Student Bar Association, and Treasurer for the Midwest Innocence Project Student Organization. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and criminal justice cum laude and with departmental honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2016.

Prior to joining Lathrop GPM, Brody practiced as an associate attorney at a firm specializing in civil and criminal appellate law, and he served as an appellate defender for the Missouri State Public Defender in Kansas City, handling appeals and post-conviction relief cases throughout the state.

In 2024, Brody was selected to the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list for appellate practice, as one of the top 2.5% of attorneys in Missouri and Kansas combined under 40 years of age.

A native of Ozark, Missouri, Brody resides with his wife and son in Prairie Village, Kansas.
