Brittany Riehm is an associate in the firm’s St. Cloud office who focuses her practice on transactional matters. Brittany advises clients across a variety of industries in mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations and other general corporate and commercial transactions. Brittany advises business owners and companies on all aspects of stock and asset transactions, including drafting and negotiating letters of intent, working with investment bankers and clients to conduct due diligence, drafting and negotiating acquisition documents, managing the completion of transactions and resolving post-closing matters. She also advises businesses on legal issues encountered throughout their life cycles, including corporate structuring and entity formation, corporate governance contract negotiation, corporate restructurings and general business matters.

On behalf of closely held and privately owned businesses, Brittany assists with business and succession planning, working closely with business owners to identify solutions to transition their business to the next phase.

Prior to joining the firm, Brittany worked as a paralegal and was a law clerk to Judge Jennifer L. Frisch in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She also worked as the legal intern for Violence Free Minnesota, where she developed a guide and training videos for advocates and survivors of domestic violence proceeding pro se in child custody litigation.
