Shlomo Hahn is an associate attorney with a versatile, nationwide litigation practice. He brings analytical rigor and cultural sensitivity to complex commercial disputes, navigating seamlessly between federal, state, and tribal courts. His unique experience representing diverse parties within the insurance space, including policyholders, insurers, and brokers—provides him with an in-depth understanding of insurance law, including comprehensive general liability, property and casualty, employers’ liability, professional liability, directors and officers liability, and cyber policies.

Shlomo’s litigation experience spans several practice areas, including ERISA litigation and compliance, healthcare litigation, insurance recovery and counseling, construction and real estate litigation, general business litigation, and complex commercial litigation. Shlomo’s passion for the rules of civil procedure and attention to jurisdictional details has helped him secure victory for many clients. Notably, Shlomo has successfully defended a national health plan administrator in concurrent tribal and state court proceedings, achieving full dismissal, and has been part of a trial team securing a unanimous jury verdict in a $30 million breach-of-contract trial.

Prior to law school, Shlomo worked full-time in a group home for people living with disabilities while obtaining a Psychology degree and a Talmudic Theory and Jurisprudence degree from the Rabbinical Seminary of America. Outside the courtroom, Shlomo remains deeply engaged in his community, serving as a lay leader at the Minneapolis Community Kollel, as a member of the Twin-Cities Diversity in Practice Emerging Leaders Group. Shlomo most recently completed two years of service as a board member of Shaarim + Gateways, a nonprofit dedicated to inclusion for Jewish adults living with disabilities. Shlomo enjoys, sculpting, designing role-playing games collecting hot sauces and spending time with his family.
