When asked…

Why did you become a lawyer?

I became an attorney because I wanted to help people, and I’ve always been passionate about language and creative problem-solving. I once got a fortune cookie that said, “You would make a great lawyer for no detail escapes your attention,” I took that to heart.

What do you do outside of work?

Outside of work, I immerse myself in all kinds of art, from visiting museums to enjoying livemusic and dancing. I love traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, taking my Aussie Doodle to the dog park and exploring nature. I also have a passion for trying new restaurants—whether it’s a Michelin star spot or a hidden gem—and cooking and baking. I’m trying to perfect my grandmother’s chocolate chip cookie recipe. And if I find myself in a place with an original Ms. PacMan game, I’m determined to achieve a high score before I leave (or until they ask me to go).
