When asked…
Why did you become a lawyer?
I grew up in a family of lawyers, with both parents practicing law. This background engrained in me the critical role lawyers play in helping people solve life’s challenges, and I’ve always sought to play that role wholeheartedly in my practice. Additionally, I’ve always been drawn to the intellectual challenges of the legal profession. I enjoy the continuous learning experience and find it fulfilling to apply my knowledge to help my clients. Few things are more satisfying than knowing I have helped clients find peace of mind.
What do you do outside of work?
I have the pleasure of coaching my sons’ soccer and baseball teams, which I find immensely rewarding. In my free time, I also enjoy hiking, biking and canoeing. I love reading, whether a new novel or the latest historical study. Above all, I value spending time with my family, particularly during our annual trips to Minnesota’s North Shore.
